Chantal Allen

ISKGA Status: Coastal Guide / Module Provider

Cornwall, UK

Since 21-09-2015

Chantal was brought up on the sea – her first five years were spent living aboard a small yacht in Cornwall where the tide and the wind were her constant companions. Chantal first started Kayaking when she started school; her father used to kayak from her home to the small village of Flushing and at 16 years old she studied at the Falmouth Marine School, first in practical boat building and then studied to become a water sports instructor. In 2001 Chantal began to assist her father running sea kayaking courses from Maenporth Beach in Falmouth and ever since its conception, has had a strong family connection with Sea Kayaking Cornwall where she now works as a commercial guide.

Chantal is a keen surfer and an Aida Level 1 Free diver. She loves to introduce others to the ocean and whenever possible she combines her other passion – Yoga, of which she is also a qualified teacher.
