About This Guide

Myles is  primarily a sea paddler and open boater, both personally and professionally, although white water and surf for fun from time to time.

He is passionate about sea kayak & canoe expeditioning and has paddled in many locations from Antarctic Peninsula, Greenland, Baffin Island, Norway, Sweden, Austria, France, Canada, Madagascar, New Zealand, West and East coast USA as well as extensively in his  home waters of Scotland.

Myles is definitely a guide first and foremost and a coach second. Although he enjoy’s coaching, it is only part of the offer he provides. He believes in the potential for transformative adventure travel experiences – ‘trips of a lifetime’ This informs both his practice as a guide, as well as, the guide training and standards work that he is  involved in in the UK and internationally.

Myles is the Head of Guides & Training for Wilderness Scotland an award winning adventure travel company based in Aviemore.
